Edward Griffith graduated from Yale College in 1979 and from New York University School of Law in 1983. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including international disputes in multiple jurisdictions. He has substantial experience in a wide variety of commercial litigation and arbitration matters as well as insurance coverage litigation, securities and commodities class actions, aviation litigation, intellectual property litigation, products liability lawsuits and claims against banks and brokerage firms. Mr. Griffith also has experience in bankruptcy litigation, including claims under various state enactments of the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act and the Bankruptcy Code.
Before forming the Griffith Firm in 2012, Mr. Griffith was a member of Bolatti & Griffith between 1998 and 2012. Prior to founding Bolatti & Griffith, he was the managing partner of the New York office of Katten Muchin & Zavis, a Chicago based law firm with offices throughout the United States. He also served as the co-chairman of Katten Muchin’s insurance litigation department. Previously, he was an associate at the New York law firms of Hughes Hubbard & Reed and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.
